What I Offer

Exercises

Discussion-Based Exercises emphasize learning and understanding rather than action. They are ideal for introducing new concepts, policies, or procedures and for fostering collaboration among key stakeholders.

Seminar

An informal session led by a subject-matter expert to present or review new plans, strategies, policies, or systems.

Workshop

Interactive sessions where participants work collaboratively to build, review, or refine emergency operations documents, annexes, and procedures.

Functional Exercises (FE) test command, control, and coordination functions within
an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or Incident Command System (ICS) environment.

Tabletop Exercise (TTX)

Facilitated discussion where participants analyze a hypothetical scenario and respond to problems using existing plans and procedures.

Game

Structured, often role-based simulations that explore strategic and decision-making processes in a competitive or cooperative environment.

Hybrid Tabletop/Functional Exercises combine discussion and limited functional elements to allow real-time activation of systems or ICS roles during a facilitated discussion.

Full-Scale Exercises (FSE)  integrates multiple agencies and jurisdictions to simulate an
actual event with real personnel and equipment in the field.

Progressive Exercise Series is a structured, multi-step approach where exercises build upon one another — moving from seminar to workshop to tabletop to functional to full-scale.

Drills

Essential Preparedness Drills

A drill is a supervised, single-function exercise that tests a specific procedure or capability in a controlled environment.

Mini-drills focus on critical components to bolster real-time response capabilities, equipping staff with the necessary skills to maintain safety and service.

Planning

Targeted Improvement Planning

Plan review and development support organizations in ensuring updated emergency plans are in place.

After-Action Reports and Improvement Plans (AAR/IPs) that are clear and concise help to identify gaps, highlight strengths, and guide actionable improvements.

Comprehensive Training Programs help to ensure your organization and its employees have the knowledge and skills to be prepared.
